With two doughty painters swarming the house–well-weathered exterior finally getting a new look–and the transfer of tables, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and other bits of shelves from the kitchen for the new floor, I have fallen behind not on writing, but on updating my site.telephone

But today I have something of interest (to myself, certainly) to post. My flash fiction short story “The Call”, written as an exercise for one of my critique groups, is now live on Flash Fiction Online, http://www.flashfictiononline.com/.

Meanwhile the new novel gains speed, but it is idling on the tracks for a few weeks while I give my attention to revising the YA book, which I am actively trying to sell. All short stories are out at markets, including a new mainstream short. Summer has taken hold in Puget Sound, and all is well with the world.
